The first anniversary banknote of Ukraine was issued on October 5, 2011 and was timed to the 20th anniversary of the National Bank of Ukraine. Officially, the day of the bank’s establishment is October 7, 1991. On this day the charter of the National Bank of Ukraine was approved. The jubilee banknote has a face value of UAH 50 and the general design of the usual 50 hryvnia banknote 2011.
